United Benefit Advisors
Content & Commentary: A Winning Combination
– Content Development –
With health care reform making headlines, fisher VISTA helped United Benefit Advisors (UBA) seize the opportunity to author several timely thought leadership articles aimed at educating employers on the critical changes they would face. These articles brought UBA a flurry of attention from the business media and HR trade publications alike.
But then the government delayed several of the new legislation’s reporting requirements, which had some employers breathing a sigh of relief. Rather than treating this development like a PR buzzkill, fisher VISTA and UBA quickly wrote a blog post titled, “Four Things You Should Know about the Employer Mandate Delay.” It called special attention to the requirements that were still in force and which would demand plenty of attention from employers. Within 24 hours of issuing the post, UBA had been contacted by The New York Times, Thomson Reuters, Employee Benefit News, and HR Magazine—all seeking interviews and commentary. In terms of hard numbers, the blog post and subsequent media wins led to 3,042 initial views, 217 shares on LinkedIn, a 1,500% increase in UBA’s Facebook activity, nearly 1,000 email responses, and 100 submitted contact forms. That’s a winning combination in anybody’s book.
In their own words…
“fisher VISTA has worked to achieve our goals like a caged animal turned loose. They have consistently performed up to and beyond our expectations.”
- Bill Olson, CMO @ UBA
